Baby Talk | L.A. Babymoon Recap

We took off for Los Angeles at the beginning of my 26th week. No major plans just wanted to visit with some friends and family. We stayed in an Air B&B right off of a popular street, Abbott Kinney. The location was perfect for walking to resturants, coffee, juice bars, and tons of shopping (most of which we couldn't afford). A few of our favorite spots were Intelligentsia, Blue Bottle Coffee, Blue Star Donuts, Salt & Straw and the Butcher's Daughter! We mostly plan our trips around food and beverages. Anyone else?

We got a chance to visit with Chris's brother, Mike, in L.A. before driving him back to San Diego the following day. We decided to hit up the Central Market in downtown L.A., Venice Beach and Malibu. Pleasantly surprised that I loved the falafel sandwich. Finally got to stick my feet in the Pacific Ocean!

The next day we drove the coastal highway on the way to San Diego. I could totally get used to the weather in California. It was nice to see another city on our trip and the coastal towns are so unique! Mike and Liana live in Ocean Beach, so we saw their town and got lunch before meeting up with Liana. Next stop was La Jolla Cove! California light sure is pretty.

Our last two days we tried to see as much as we could before heading home. Santa Monica Pier, Venice Canals, driving on Mulholland Dr, Beverly Hills, and Rodeo Dr. Oh, and eating. The food I wanted the most was fish tacos. We found the best ones at the Guerrilla Taco food truck. It made all my dreams come true. Basically, we came, we saw, we ate. Until next time L.A.! I will miss your daily sunshine, carefree vibe and your tacos.
