Summer engagement sessions are in full swing! Pittsburgh is so beautiful in the summer and we decided to meet up at Washington's Landing. It is like Pittsburgh's best kept secret for a romantic winding staircase! We ended the night on the bridge for an urban touch. I loved hanging out in a new location with Kelly and James. They are so sweet together and CANNOT wait until their Hotel Monaco wedding in October! 

Have I mentioned that I had 4 friends all pregnant this spring/summer?! It has been so special watching them all become mommas. Even more special when they ask me to document them as a new family. It makes me even more excited to have these movements in a few short weeks!

This session in particular was very dear to my heart. Amy was literally my first bestie. We both moved into a new development as kids and lived a street away. I can remember sleepovers where all we did was laugh until we were in tears and try to imitate how John Travolta sings 'Summer Nights' in Grease. Even after she moved away in the 5th grade, we still remained in touch and as adults, stood by each other as we said 'I do'. It will be so fun to have littles just a few months apart! She is so beautiful as a new mommy, I can't even get over it. When you live in Pittsburgh you know the weather is unpredictable. Luckily, after thinking all week that rain might move us to Plan B, we ended up with a 90 degree May evening for Lauren and Jon's downtown engagement session. Lauren looked stunning in her fitted white dress and I couldn't help but have a girl crush on her! If this was just the engagement session, I cannot wait to see her on her wedding day!

Lauren and Jon, you were so fun to walk around the city with and I can't wait to celebrate you both in August!
