Liz and Nico are married!

It might have been one of the most emotional wedding days for me. I’ll tell you why in a minute.

Liz and Nico met one fateful night in college. Sharing a first date as any true Pittsburgher would - at Primanti's. These two were preparing to welcome their son when Nico surprised Liz with a proposal in front of their families. They tied the knot at the  Doubletree by Hilton Cranberry with the help of their son, Braxon!! 

Liz was stunning in her Justin Alexander  gown. She added lace elbow length gloves to her bridal look and it was perfection. Nico was looking sharp as ever as he waited for his bride during their snowy first look! Now Liz was really hoping for snow for their portraits. We don’t often get snowy when we want it but man did nature out do itself!! The snow was so magical!

The hotel was home to the ceremony and reception. Icy blue and silver for winter glam vibe. Florals were out of this world epic from Karri Hlista Designs. 

One of my favorite parts of they day was their ceremony! Cue the tears as Nico walked down the aisle carrying Braxon. They both waiting for Liz to make her grand entrance. It was one of the sweetest walks down the aisle I have ever witnessed. Not just a bride and groom but a family, coming together to be united in front of all of their guests. Braxon was so funny during the ceremony it helped everyone share some laughs in between the happy tears. The reception was a huge party and let me tell you these folks know how to waltz!

Bryn and Paul are (FINALLY) married!

After 8 years together, a cross country move, and couple of tattoos, these two tied the knot at the  Kimpton Hotel Monaco Pittsburgh. Even their pup, Nora, got to celebrate with them since the Hotel Monaco is pet friendly!! 

Bryn was stunning in her Enaura Bridal gown from Kleinfeld's. Paul wore black tie which is always a favorite in my book! The space was home to the ceremony and reception. Florals had a touch of boho and cabernet accents from Mt Lebanon Floral. 

One of my favorite parts of they day was their first dance! They KILLED it! Their song was Nina Simone - Feeling Good, which was a nice departure from the typical first dance tunes. Then they surprised everyone with an incredible first dance and some epic dips. It was so fun to watch the crowds reaction! We ended the night the best way possible - with puppy kisses from their fur baby, Nora.

I could not have planned a more perfect June day for Carly + Matt's Children's Museum wedding in Pittsburgh, PA.  

Carly got ready at one of my favorite Pittsburgh hotels, the Renaissance Hotel! They have beautiful and bright suites with a view of the city of bridges. She was so calm and absolutely stunning in her dress. The rings in her detail shots are actually her parents! I though that was such a unique, personal touch. And each member of her bridal party got a humorus handkerchief to dab their tears, so cute!

We made our way to the ceremony, then headed to the University of Pittsburgh for portraits. It was the same campus where they met so it truly had a special meaning to them.  They were so happy to be married and their smiles were contagious! They were too adorable for words.

Once we arrived at the venue, we had time for a few more portraits around the museum which was so fun!  After the cocktail hour ended the guests settled in for toasts to the bride and groom. I was even getting emotional because you could feel the love everyone felt towards Carly + Matt. They are two of the most genuine, sweet and caring people I have had the honor to photograph.  Take a look at Carly + Matt’s day!
